FLock.io-Verified Developers

What Does the "Blue Tick" Mean?

The "Blue Tick" signifies that a developer has met the eligibility criteria required by FLock.io for verification. On January 16, 2025, we are launching our verification program. Developers who wish to retain or receive the Blue Tick will need to meet the following eligibility criteria outlined below.

Additionally, developers who are verified with the Blue Tick may be awarded stake tokens by the FLock Foundation as part of its decentralized training initiatives and community development.

Eligibility Criteria for the "Blue Tick"

To be eligible for the "Blue Tick," developers must meet the following requirements:

  • Affiliation with Large Mining Groups: Only developers who are working for established, large-scale mining platforms or well-recognized groups are eligible to receive the Blue Tick.

  • Good Reputation and Performance: Developers must have a strong, positive reputation in the mining community, with no history of negative behavior, misconduct, or poor performance.

  • Active Participation in FLock.io Community Building: Developers should demonstrate ongoing and active participation in the FLock.io ecosystem. This includes contributing to community development, fostering engagement, and supporting FLock.io’s mission. Developers should also be seen as long-term stakeholders who are unlikely to quickly liquidate or sell their tokens.

Once your account is reviewed and verified against these criteria, the Blue Tick will appear on your profile.

Loss of the "Blue Tick”

The Blue Tick is subject to change based on the following conditions:

  • Ongoing Compliance: FLock.io may remove the Blue Tick if a developer no longer meets the eligibility criteria or violates the platform’s Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.

  • Profile Changes: Any changes to your FLock.io profile photo, display name, or username (@handle) will result in a temporary loss of the Blue Tick until your account is re-validated. During this period, no further changes to your profile will be allowed.

  • Violation of FLock.io Rules: The Blue Tick may also be removed if a developer is found in violation of FLock.io's rules or guidance or engages in behavior that undermines the integrity of the platform.

  • Compliance: Developers may not be verified with a Blue Tick if FLock is prohibited from engaging with them under relevant laws.

  • Manipulation of the FLock.io Process: Any attempt to manipulate or circumvent FLock.io’s verification or enforcement processes may result in the permanent loss of the Blue Tick or, in some cases, suspension of the developer's account.
